Role Description The English Translator is a full-time, on-site role based in Istanbul, Türkiye. This position is responsible for translating written medical and administrative content from Turkish to English and from English to Turkish, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency with Clinic Center’s communication standards. Day-to-day tasks include translating patient information materials, consent forms, websites, marketing content, and internal documents, as well as interpreting during patient consultations, briefings, and follow-up calls when needed. The role involves collaborating closely with medical teams, patient coordinators, and marketing staff to maintain terminology accuracy and culturally appropriate language. The English Translator is expected to manage multiple translation requests, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of all patient and company information. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Translation and English Translation skills, with the ability to work accurately between Turkish and English. Candidates should possess solid Interpreting skills for in-person and telephone communication between patients and medical staff. Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills for clear, patient-friendly, and professional documents. Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, including grammar, terminology consistency, and cultural nuance in both languages. Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Translation, Linguistics, English Language, or a related field are preferred. Professional experience in medical, healthcare, or tourism-related translation is highly beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Istanbul, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards is required. Competence with translation software, office productivity tools, and basic content management systems is an advantage.
