French Localization Specialist

Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite ) Pay Rate: 30/hr on T4 Contract: September 2026 – August 2027 Strong possibility of permanent conversion We're seeking a French Localization Specialist to support high-quality Canadian French content across internal and customer communications. What You'll Do Localize English content into Canadian French. Review machine translations and perform localization quality assurance (LQA). Ensure content aligns with brand, legal, compliance, and editorial standards. Manage translation memories using cloud-based Translation Management Systems. Collaborate with HR, legal, marketing, and enterprise stakeholders. Advocate for localization best practices and educate internal teams. What We're Looking For ✔ 4+ years of localization/translation experience ✔ Expert knowledge of Canadian French grammar, tone, spelling, and regional nuances ✔ Experience with Localization QA (LQA) and machine translation review ✔ Experience with Trados Enterprise , Phrase, XTM, Multitrans, or similar TMS platforms ✔ Adobe Workfront, Jira, SFMC/Taxi, and AI tools are strong assets ✔ Financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry experience preferred ✔ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills French localization assessment will be part of the interview process.
