But what truly powers 2K is our people.
We believe the best ideas come from teams that feel empowered, supported, and inspired. As an equal opportunity employer, we are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace where people are encouraged to come as they are and do their best work.
What We Need
As part of 2K’s Global Loc 2.0 strategy, we are establishing regional project leadership roles that ensure seamless localization execution and alignment across all supported languages. We are looking for a Localization Project Manager to act as the regional stakeholder responsible for executing localization and LQA workflows in close coordination with Localization Producers and internal content teams.
This is a mid-senior individual contributor role designed for professionals with a deep understanding of localization pipelines and vendor workflows. You’ll be the regional glue between Localization Producers and functional teams like Linguistic Specialists, Language Leads, LQA Leads, and external vendors—making sure everyone has what they need to deliver high-quality localization on time and on budget.
What You’ll Do
Act as the regional operational lead for localization execution, working under the direction of the assigned Localization Producer
Coordinate localization and LQA schedules across internal stakeholders (Language Leads, Linguistic Specialists, LQA Leads) to ensure alignment and on-time delivery
Provide day-to-day project oversight, ensuring language owners and QA teams have access to the right tools, briefs, materials, and context
Identify, track, and report red flags and roadblocks in localization and LQA workflows that could impact timeline, quality, or budget
Serve as the primary point of contact for regional vendors (localization and LQA), ensuring they are fully briefed, resourced, and enabled to deliver high-quality work
Monitor localization asset flow, including localization kits, VO scripts, builds, and bug reports—ensuring timely handoff and feedback cycles
Collaborate with Language Leads and LQA to confirm consistency, quality, and adherence to platform, tone, and content standards
Track progress using localization management tools, asset trackers, and shared dashboards; surface risk to senior staff when needed
Coordinate with Global Loc Coordination and Production to prioritize tasks, unblock workflows, and refine delivery processes
Recommend improvements to regional workflow efficiency, vendor feedback cycles, and milestone tracking
Support post-mortem reviews by contributing data and qualitative feedback from the region
What You Bring
4–6+ years of experience in localization project coordination, content operations, or vendor management, preferably in gaming or interactive media
Deep knowledge of localization workflows, tools, and processes, including CAT tools, TMS platforms, Jira, and shared cloud systems
Strong operational instincts with the ability to monitor tasks, align teams, and identify blockers in a fast-paced environment
Experience coordinating with third-party vendors across multiple time zones and cultures
Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with LQA, content, platform, and publishing stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication in English; regional language fluency a plus
Familiarity with terminology management, QA feedback cycles, and basic localization metrics
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to operate with limited supervision
Bachelor’s degree in localization, linguistics, project management, or equivalent professional experience
WHY JOIN US?
As a Localization Project Manager , you’ll be the operational backbone of 2K’s regional localization efforts—helping bring clarity, structure, and quality control to a complex and fast-moving process. You’ll work at the center of a highly collaborative localization ecosystem, ensuring that producers, linguists, QA, and vendors are moving in sync—and that players across the world receive the localized experience they deserve.
